A Suprisingly Rainy Day

Rainy Day turns into Beautiful Day

Today was rainy and moody, not at all the type of day I was hoping for this entire week! Jake and I just got our motorycycle shipped out here and was planning on taking a ride around the coast of Makapu; however, we woke up to rain, rain, and more rain. The tree behind our bedroom window was swaying heavily back and forth and my flowers looked like they were going to drown to death! After watching Jake play video games for a 'few' hours we decided to get out of the house. You see, Jake 'accidently' lost his wedding band a few days ago while exercising so we needed to go purchase him a new one A.S.A.P. Surprisingly, I wasn't as upset as I thought I would have been. So we went to the Zales in Windward Mall and bought him a brand new shiny band. Afterward, we went to Borders where I spend entirely way too much time and money and purchased the book 'Abigail' by Jill Eileen Smith. I have loved learning about the women of the bible and had just recently had a quite time over David's wives and picked up this copy. Jake and I then hopped in the car and drove to Kailua where we went to this organic smoothie shop and had a Da Kine. This smoothie was basically the most refreshing drink I have EVER had! We walked on over to this little bakery called Elvin's Backery and bought a custard cream puff and a Strawberry Danish. I have always wanted to try a custard tart ever since seeing Lynol on As Time Goes By eating them and since they were out of custart tarts, we settled for the cake. We then came home and spent HOURS trying to figure out this blessed Blogger and all of it's High Tech lingo. I'm so excited to start sharing with everyone about all of our daily events and will try to blog as often as possible.
